Earlier this month, on 4th October, I was invited by @luxolasg to attend their exclusive VIP introduction for bloggers at Kemang Icon.

At first, I was surprised. WHO ARE THEY?

WHAT'S A LUXOLA?

I mean.. VIP Introduction? They are throwing an exclusive event?

Then..

I opened www.luxola.com

I was fascinated by the brands that they are carrying on their e-commerce service!

Sigma beauty, Korres, Deborah Lippmann, Mario Badescu, KAI, Paperself eyelashes, Sleek, and the other high-end cosmetic lines that I was never heard of.

When I arrived at the venue, the thing that I did was A BIG EXHALE OF AFTER-GOT-STUCKED-IN-KEMANG'S-TRAFFIC..

*whoosah*

As we(I, @rinicesillia, and @phanie14) went in to the room where the event be held, we were welcomed by Lexy (Alexis), and Cam (Camille).

They can only speak English with us, so..

After they popped the champagne, I talked in English like nobody's business..  HAHAHA

I love the way they approach bloggers.

Getting to know each other in the best way, by introducing their services 1-on-1.

Unlike another event that inviting tons of blogger and media, shove them up with press release, throw some music/entertainment/demo, and say their byes.

Luxola is giving the best service for their customer.

HI!  This time it's all about  "Just A Little Touch of LUX"..

Last 2 week, I was invited by LUX to attend their "House of LUX White" event, in the spirit of  "LUX White" campaign.  

It took place at The Dharmawangsa's Grand Ball Room..

LUX always wanna impress the market with a 'Million Dollar Feeling' beauty soap.

And it began with the 'LUX Magical Spell' last semester [or over 70 years? HAHA >_<].

After stuck on traffic, and being lost for almost 2 hours, we arrived at the white party..
I'm glad we(me, and Gabby) impressed our blogger fellas with our appearance.
HAHA it's rare to see me suit up for an occasion.

When I enter the venue where the event took place,
my eyes were pleased with soap bars, soap bottle, and soap bar placing which has been bedazzled with Preciosa, Genuine Czech crystal.  like, Oh My God...  So pretteeeh~

And the event began. The reason why I was so perked up about is the MC!
HAHA  Amy Zein is so hilarious!
It's cool that she even remembered me, and spotted me when she's entering the venue. Kyaa~

Then, Afriani Karina, Senior Brand Manager of LUX Indonesia, approached the stage and said:
"To SHINE is a power that drives women think that they can achieve everything ahead. It's a MINDSET, ATTITUDE, and ACTION."

The guest speaker, Roslina Verauli, a psychologist, supported that statement by saying:
"Each person there's a WANT to shine. Most of the women are thinking that by having a fair skin, they feel more precious, and boost the confidence, even by being that way it's comforting for them to face their life, in social life, or in their career."

Some points, I can't go with them.  BUT!  Ms Verauli got a point after that, "inner beauty is important. But don't forget the outter beauty. People can always say that DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER, but first impression, the outter, is what people see on you when they met you."

THAT'S WHY, GIRLSSS..  HOLLAAA! *ok, It's lame I speak holla*

To maintain the softness, shine, and moist of skin, LUX present:

Well, I have experienced the soaps.
The White GLAMOUR has the scent that I love the most of these two. It's sweet of lilies, roses, jasmine, with a hint of musk, vanilla, honey, and fruits. And it got the tiny little pearl that pop when I scrub it on my skin. Maybe that's the stuff that helps to get rid of the dead cells skin.
The White RADIANCE is the softest scent of LUX liquid soap I have ever been using. I can smell rose, freesia, fruity, honey, citrus, and amber. The texture is very rich, honey like, with some crushed pearls[mica?] in it.

In other words, these two soap really does the job as a soap that gives 'million dollar feeling'.


The feeling of 'millionaire' comes with the campaign!  They are co-working with the Preciosa, a crystal maker company from Republic of Czech.
Preciosa is well-known as their fine artistry of their works in crystals, chandeliers, and have worked with so many fashion houses, and PALACE(s)!

On 18th September, Shu Uemura Indonesia was holding a press release event of a most wonderful limited edition collection, Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura..

WHO doesn't know Karl Lagerfeld?

He's like a living-legend in fashion industry. A maestro.

For over 20 years, Karl befriends with the late mr Shu, he finally created this collection in memorial of their friendship, Mon Shu Uemura, which means: My Beloved Uemura.

Since the beginning of their friendship, Karl has been using Shu Uemura eyeshadow on his fashion sketches!

And there was a makeup demo by John Pagaduan / @johnpagadu (accredited Shu Uemura makeup artist from Philippines).

SO, are you ready for the collection?

I KNOW I AM!   Oh my god, I'm so excited!!!

The MonShu collection will be available in Jakarta on 1st November 2012!

Cleansing the face using this cleansing milk from Sari Ayu 

The thing that I like from this cleansing milk is, it's mild, and suitable for my normal-to-oily skin type.

Its calming yet refreshing citrus scent is great too!

Since it's local product, the price is chirping CHEAP-CHEAP-CHEAP..

OK.. Imma review about Etude House's Skin Mal-Geum, which is a skincare line consist of toner, and moisturizer.  Didn't buy the moisturizer though. Had tried the moisturizer in sample size. Well, it's nothing to compared with the cheap-ass Hada Labo moisturizing lotion.  HAH!

So, I go for this Oil Control toner, Skin Mal-Geum in Fresh.

In Korean, it's called Se-Khin Mal-Geum Phi-Ji Khon-The-Rol(oil control).

HAHA I knooow.. Sounds funny. But I love speaking in Korean. It's.. Arousing. LOL *weird*

I bought this, because I'm tempted by Phanie's post about it.

Etude House Skin Mal-Geum in Fresh

When the first time I tried the sample, I've fallen for the smell.. It smells so good!
I'm not a skincare junkie or something. And I'm kinda LAZY to put on some products on my face.
BUT I GOTTA..

This toner helps me to minimized my pores, clean those oil on T-zone, and moisturizing (a little) at the same time.
Well, in other words, generally, toner preps your skin before you put on any face product.


"Mal-Geum" is the Korean word for cleanness, clarity, and pureness(or purity? is there such word? mmkay..)

I usually use this toner to prep my skin before makeup, works on my oily eyelids as well.
Most of the times, I use this toner to wipe off the excess mask when I'm using my L'Occitane Angelica Instant Hydration mask.
