In makeup world, you cannot just put makeup on with just your fingers, and cotton swabs. You need those makeup tools to achieve the professional look, or just to make your life easier.
Imagine if you have to put your foundation/BBcream with your fingers everytime you're going out. You wash your hands before application, you get (sometimes) uneven coverage of foundation because you were too lazy to blend it by patting your hands on your face, and you gotta wash your hands again after application. Too much soap can harm your skin too ya knooo..
